Job description/Responsibilities: The Tele Charge Nurse is responsible and accountable for the quality of staff and functions during their shift. Directly supervises and communications with all staff along with the Director of Telemetry. Assists the Department Director in the daily operation of the unit, directing, supervising and evaluating personnel, ensuring the proper use of time, equipment and staff. Ensure the efficient functions of the department. Performs direct patient care, only as needed, within the scope of practice. Continually assess care and direct staff to make immediate changes in the plan of care. Company Policy: Benefits: Required Qualification: 1. Current and valid state RN License 2. Current BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current. 3. Current ACLS (AHA) 30 days upon hire and maintain current. 4. Current Assaultive Behavior Management training (MAB) within 3 months of hire and maintain current biennially recommended. 5. Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. RN-C within 2 years of hire preferred. Experience: Minimum 1 Year Job Family: Healthcare Practitioners and Technical Occupations.
