Title: Nona Crew Counselor
Supervisor: Youth Activities Director
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
General Summary: Responsible for all duties related to youth activities and sports at the club included but not limited to set-up, event implementation and clean up. Supervising our younger members in a safe nurturing way is essential to job function.

Essential Job Functions:
• Assist with set-up and decoration of all events
• Greets members and guests in a professional friendly manner
• Ensure knowledge of all safety and first aid protocol procedures
• Ensures knowledge of company policies and procedures as it refers to Nona Crew department
• Supervise children when in our care and adhere to all rules regarding our younger members
• Assist parents when signing their children in and out, including checking identification when necessary
• Handle and properly care for all materials for events and store them after use
• Ensure knowledge of all children, allergies, special needs, and staff during events while in our care
• Communicate with and inform immediate supervisors of any unforeseen circumstances and react appropriately
• Move furniture when necessary ie: Kid tables and chairs
• Maintain confidentiality as it relates to our members’ family information
• Perform routine safety checks of areas for events before we begin
• Attend all department staff meetings and trainings
• Sign for vendor deliveries as needed
• Perform routine office tasks
• Engage each child during activity time
• Assist with dinner service as it relates to our events
• Perform all other duties as required

Requirements

Job Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
* High School education or equivalent required
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Must be willing to get CPR certified early into employment
* Knowledge of office equipment
* Friendly outgoing demeanor is a plus
* Child care experience is a plus
* Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions

Essential Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to lift 30 lbs
* This position requires standing for long periods of time
* Must be able to work outdoors as needed
* Must be able to work in hot and muggy conditions on continuous basis
* Must be physically able to do assigned work as outlined above
