Polymer Chemist - Full-time / Part-time

Must Haves:
-BS or MS in Chemistry, Material Science, Organic Chemistry, or Polymer Chemistry,
-Experience synthesizing polymer materials in industry
-Understanding of GMP and safety guidelines
-HPLC and GPC/thermal analysis instrumentation experience
-Strong documentation experience


Typical Day: The manager creates the project idea they will be working on. They will work hand in hand with the manager. They will be expected to have some polymer synthesis experience and understanding of how to make polymers for various applications. They will be on one project at a time for the most part.

Training will be very lengthy and not formally aligned. They will be creating their own department SOPs as they build out. This is a new department- to help generate new products to market for the company. Analytically they will be using HPLC and GPC regularly and running company specific functional properties testing.
