Electrician

A leading multinational steel company is looking for skilled Electricians to join their Maintenance team.

This position is a Direct Placement into the United Steel Workers union, with starting pay range of $28 per hour, plus profit sharing, retirement and full health care benefits.

Maintenance Electricians will be responsible for the installation of machinery, electrical troubleshooting and repairing of electrical systems on various equipment, such as blast furnaces, casters, crop shears, coil boxes, finishing stands, roll lines, overhead cranes, and coilers. Proficiency in troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs and VFDs.

Qualified candidates for the Electrician position must have a minimum of 1 year of previous experience in the electrical maintenance field. Previous experience working in a steel mill, forging plant, coke plant, steel processing, or petro-chemical plant is a plus!
