JOB SUMMARY\:

 

Plans, provides, and supervises nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with physician’s orders and established policies and procedures of the nursing department as well as professional standards of nursing, applicable Federal and State laws, state nurse practice guidelines, and regulatory agencies.  Communicates with physicians, co-workers, and other departments as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology, and is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.  The registered nurse has the authority and responsibility to intervene in crises, initiate emergency measures, and direct the activities of other nursing personnel in accordance with North Dakota Board of Nursing regulations, as these activities relate to patient care.  Cares for patients of all ages.

Qualification:

REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS\:

-   Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of

    North Dakota.

-  ACLS trained (Acute Care Nurses).

-  Basic Life Support trained.

-  TNCC trained (Emergency Room Nurses).

 

SECURITY ACCESS (HIGH)\:

- Incumbent has access to restricted or confidential patient information and must comply with the terms of the Lisbon Area Health Services Security Policies as it applies to their job role.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS\:

- Ability to read and communicate in English.

   other personnel.
