Position Overview

Siemens Healthineers is looking to fill the role ofStrategic Account Executive in the Boston area for its unit "MolecularServices Americas" headquartered in Berkeley, California.

The headquarters of Molecular Services Americasincludes the CLIA certified Siemens Clinical Laboratory. We offer a rangeof products and services out of this laboratory including commercial clinicaltesting, assay and LDT development in collaboration with our LaboratoryDiagnostics Division, clinical trial testing, and molecular testingservices. Clinical Laboratory works in many disease areas notlimited to: Oncology, Liver Fibrosis, HIV, Alzheimer's, Cardiac Disease, andViral Vectors.

The role comprises the responsibility ofcontracting for partnership opportunities with Pharmaceutical companies in thedefined geographical area offering the entire Siemens Healthineers andMolecular Services portfolio, the responsibility to build up long term clinicalpartnerships with major Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies, andresponsibility to collaborate with the North America sales organization ofSiemens Healthineers to jointly develop the market.

The role is field based and reports into the Head ofSales, Molecular Services Americas in the Siemens Healthineers Strategy &Innovation unit.

Key Responsibilities

* Effectively work with Pharmaceutical companies tosell all available products and services offered by Siemens Healthineers andMolecular Services.

* Leads all aspects of business development forprofitable penetration into new or existing pharmaceutical companies in thedefined territory.

* Responsible for the development and execution ofsales efforts into pharmaceutical companies to ensure achievement of assignedbusiness goals.

* Responsible for the build up a sales pipeline indefined territory and effectively drive revenue through contractualrelationships.

* Responsible for establishing key relationshipswithin the target market and execution of multi-level sales process.

* Responsibility to establish new pharmaceuticalpartnerships and expand existing relationships within defined territory

* Effectively work with other Siemens Healthineersdivisions to collaborate when needed.

* Responsibility to develop a comprehensiveunderstanding of all available products and services available topharmaceutical partners.

* Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

* 10 years of pharmaceutical business to businesssales experience selling at the executive level.

* Experience selling and presenting to Pharmaceuticaland Biotech executive level audience

* Bachelors degree in business administration orequivalent professional experience

* Experience selling and presenting to C-levelExecutives

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education,and Experience:

* "Can do" mindset, sense of ownership andwillingness to pro-actively drive sales

* Strong communication skills and ability to interactwith stakeholders on all levels

* High ethical standards, personal and businessintegrity

* Experience working in a multi-national corporationis a plus

* Ability to work with stakeholders in complexorganizational structures is a plus
