Job Description:

Position Title:

Team Lead

Starting Wage:

$15-$17 / hour

Classification:

Hourly (eligible for overtime pay)

Hours Worked:

Flexible schedule including weekends and overnight travel required

The Team Lead participates in reset, remodel and new store projects in select stores. This is a temporary position expecting to last less than 6 months. Projects involve the placement and assembly of store fixtures based off provided fixture plans, adjustment of shelves and arrangement and placement of products on the shelves in accordance with plan-o-grams. The Team Lead role is responsible for ensuring each project is completed on time and within budget.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Educational Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent



    Experience or Knowledge Requirements

  • Experience reading from CAD drawings, fixture plans, merchandising plans and plan-o-grams.

  • Able to recommend changes to drawings and/or plans necessary for project completion.

  • Capable of training and setting planograms

  • Understanding different customers merchandising standards and processes in order to satisfy project specifications

  • Experience in working with multiple contractors regarding project timelines, such as electricians, carpenters, plumbers, etc.

  • Strong people skills and ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times

  • Proven track record of successful teamwork, following directions, and the ability to plan, assess and when necessary re-direct the work of Team Members in order for the team to meet project objectives.

  • Strong organizational and problem solving kills

  • Experience working with hand tools and small electric tools for use in fixture assembly preferred.

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Outlook and have the ability to input data in Excel.

  • Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record Check and Background Check

    Job Requirements/Duties

  • Identify and order missing or damaged components.

  • Submitting end of project paperwork.

  • Review of completed planograms with store management.

  • Aid in running large scale remodeling projects, ensuring his/her assigned job responsibilities as a part of the project are completed on time and within budget

  • Responsible for supervising work flow of reset/remodel crew

  • Compliance with RGIS and client safety requirements, and help in ensuring Team Members comply with all safety requirements.

  • Responsible for the proper administration and collection of Time Sheets and expense submittal, where appropriate.

    Physical Requirements

  • Performing work involving mechanical, recurrent and routine tasks.

  • Lift, carry or move bulky equipment, fixtures and supplies, up to 50 lbs

  • Bend, stoop, reach and twist

  • Must be able to extend arms and reach/lift over head

  • Repetitive motions requiring use of wrists, hands and fingers

  • Ability to accurately communicate detailed or important information in the applicable environment.

  • Able to work for extended periods of time

  • Able to travel by car and plane
