SUMMARY

Working with multiple functional areas, the Pricing Analyst I will assist in developing and analyzing cost estimates for proposals/quotations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Work with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, ILS and other functional areas to help develop cost estimates for Defense proposals/quotations.

* Work with Defense Contracts (both domestic and international) to develop a full understanding of customer requirements for the product/service being quoted.

* Assist in the creation of a complete, accurate, and timely cost/price proposal for submittal to Defense customers.

* Analyze and relay the financial/business impact of a proposal internally to the Defense Finance team.

* Assist other functional areas within Defense Finance (General Accounting and Government Compliance) in overflow situations as required.

* Take on and resolve special projects as assigned by the Pricing Manager.

* Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Student in a Sophomore standing or greater working towards a Bachelor's degree for the duration of the internship.

* Requirement of an August / December 2018 graduation date or later

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

* Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills

* 3.0 GPA
