JOB SUMMARY:
The Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for providing recruitment support for non-exempt openings.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Maintaining client relationships,
- Coordinating job fair activity,
- Opening compliant requisitions,
- Job postings,
- Requisition management,
- Phone screening candidates,
- Extending verbal offers, and
- Administrative functions (special reporting projects)as required through the recruitment process to support sourcing activity.
JOB SCOPE:
Provides national administrative recruitment support for up to 150+ requisitions at one time. Responsible for conducting 350+ phone interviews per month. Accountable for achieving staffing targets as set by the Lead, Talent Acquisition.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Checks all assigned incoming email boxes and voicemail on a daily basis; processes high volume of administrative activity on daily basis
- Ensures that requisitions are opened and posted quickly and accurately
- Works in Applicant Tracking System on a daily basis to ensure candidates are immediately processed and dispositioned as appropriate
- Ensures candidates are promptly delivered to Hiring Manager
- Arranges onsite open houses at district offices remotely, screens and confirms candidates to attend and ensures that selected candidates have taken required assessments
- Makes verbal offer of employment as needed
- Participates in routine staffing meetings with the business as needed
- Promptly identifies areas of concern from a recruitment standpoint and escalates this to the Manager
- Provides feedback timely and consistency back to the Sourcing Recruiter
- Performs other duties as assigned
- 1+ year processing a high volume of administrative transactions
- Strong attention to detail/high level of accuracy
- Excellent organizational/prioritization skills
- Open to change and the ability to implement change quickly and effectively
- Ability to interact professionally and represent Sears Home Services in a positive manner with associates and candidates
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple candidates simultaneously who are in all phases of the recruitment and on-boarding process
- Able to work variable and flexible hours
- Strong proficiency with computers and databases, including Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate in spoken and written English well enough to be understood by supervisors, co-workers, and customers
- Ability to enter data and maneuver efficiently using a keyboard, operate a mouse, use telephone and headset equipment, and listen while keying information into the system
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of frequent sitting and some standing and walking, with bending and reaching as necessary
- Ability to demonstrate self-control by maintaining composure and keeping emotions in check even in difficult situations
- All employees/associates may in the course of their duties come in contact with Credit / Debit Card Data. If this data is exposed as part of their position in the site/center, the associate must protect that data as directed and required by the compliance team to ensure SHC s compliance to current Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS)
- Previous experience working in a Recruiting Department
- College Degree
- Kenexa BrassRing or other applicant tracking system, and PeopleSoft or other HR databases
- Prior experience working in a shared services environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Less than one year of related experience
- 18 years of age or older
