About this job

Primary responsibility is repairing valves, actuators (electric and pneumatic) and instrumentation at customer facilities or at the clients in house repair locations.

Calibration of field instruments such as level, pressure and temperature and flow transmitters.

Responsible for diagnosing customer problems, proper use of tools and equipment, on the job safety practices and proper job documentation.

Ability to troubleshoot process control equipment: including valve, actuators, etc.

Assist with shop assembly needs as time permits.

Interpret written instructions, P&ID's, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

Travel requirements during the week only.

Shop work will include: using hand and power tools to disassemble, diagnose problems. Will also get trained to do basic manual machining, mig & tig welding on stainless & carbon steel, sandblasting parts and other steps in service work.
