Providence is calling a Clinical Supervisor Nursing ( Full Time - Variable shift ) to Providence Saint John's Health Center Santa Monica, CA.
In this position you will:
* Support the Mission and Vision of Saint John's Health Center. This is achieved by demonstrating the capacity to manage daily operations within the designated department.
* Leadership: Resource for family, clinical, materials and staff issues
* Staff development through evaluating, mentoring, motivating and coaching
* Stewardship through fiscal responsibility, which is achieved by planning and resource management of material and staff
* Liaison, interacting with physicians, interdepartmental staff, and families
* Risk Management-ensuring quality patient care
* Teamwork: Promoting dynamic communication, acting as catalyst for change
* Clinical Supervisor is a resource for clinical support, knowledge, expertise and leadership
Required qualifications for this position include:
* Past or current experience in a Charge Nurse role in L&D or other unit
* Good clinical skills in L&D and PP
* Current ( RN ) license in the State of California
* Current Basic Life Support ( BLS ) certification for Healthcare Providers sponsored by the American Heart Association
* Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support ( ACLS ) certification sponsored by the American Heart Association
* Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program ( NRP ) certification
* Advanced Fetal Monitoring experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
* BSN preferred
* RN specialty certification preferred
