About this job

At the Fulfillment Center, our associates are our greatest asset. We have exciting opportunities for Picker/Packers on all three shifts. 

Our Picker/Packers work in our Fulfillment Center warehouse and are responsible for :

  • Maintaining acceptable productivity standards while performing all job functions according to department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Processing high volume of merchandise, inbound receipts, customer orders & packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Unloading cartons of merchandise off of trucks onto conveyors, scanning receipt of cartons, identifying overages, shortages or damages
  • Processing cartons containing multiple UPCs, sorts merchandise, repackages or relabels items as required and prepares merchandise to be put away
  • Putting merchandise away into pick locations
  • Processing customer orders and picking merchandise out of pick locations within the warehouse
  • Packaging customer orders in a timely, efficient manner preparing them to be shipped
  • Ensuring the correct package is loaded on the correct trailer & trailers are shipped in a timely manner
  • Processing returned merchandise from customers ensuring accurate and timely credit to the customer’s account
  • Potentially operating powered equipment
  • Potentially cross training in any or all other functional areas


Available Schedules:

  • First Shift – Tuesday through Friday 10 hours per day
  • Second Shift – Monday through Friday 8 hours per day
  • 3/12 Shift – Sunday through Tuesday 12 hours per day
  • Hours are subject to change based on the demands of the business


Benefits:

Picker/Packer Job Requirements:

  • Must have consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Can work independently and as a team player
  • Able to maintain positive, professional and constructive communication and interactions with all members of the team
  • Understand and be able to learn industry specific technology
  • Must be able to read and write in English
  • Ability to operate RF scanner
  • Must be able to operate a computer and all of its components at an entry level
  • Ability to understand directions regarding Standard Operating Procedures
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to meet accuracy and production standards
