Mortgage Loan Processor

Hiring a Loan Processor to work with Mortgage Loan Originators and Underwriters. This individual will maintain direct communication with all parties to prepare the loan for approval and facilitate a successful closing.

Job Description:

• Responsible for processing loan applications
• Analyzing the loan applications
• Assessing creditworthiness and the likelihood that a loan applicant will be able to repay the debt
• Analyzing the AUS /Guidelines as it pertains to the loan product and sales structure; review title commitments and fees, order subordinations; allocate fees properly in the system
• Prepares loan application file for underwriting approval
• Submits approved mortgage loan file to the Mortgage Loan Closer for settlement
• Records data on status of loans, including number of new applications and loans approved, canceled, or denied, using computer

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience working as a Loan Processor
• Previous experience working with home builders doing the full scope of processing a loan from start to close
• Experience processing Mortgage Loans
• Experience with FHA/VA/USDA and conventional loans is preferred
