Amgen is in search of a Corporate Real Estate Manager. The Corporate Real Estate Manager will work in Global Asset Planning, reporting to the Engineering Projects Director, and will work out of the Amgen Capability Center located in Tampa, Florida. GAP is responsible for the planning, design and the utilization of Amgen’s worldwide portfolio and is focused on three basic elements: Strategic Planning, Real Estate and Occupancy Planning. This position is specifically related to Real Estate.

This state-of-the art center serves as a base for finance, information systems, and human resources professionals to make a meaningful impact at one of the world’s leading biotechnology companies.

The successful candidate will possess the following:
Knowledge of domestic and international lease structure agreements
Presentation skills and demonstrated ability to work in teams, network, multi-task, and influence others - internal and external to Amgen
High degree of knowledge and ability to query / maintain, and analyze information databases to draw insights from the data
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Ability to generate presentations, lease agreements, and other documents relevant to a corporate real estate function
Current and relevant knowledge of design, construction, technology / collaboration integration into the holistic office environment relevant to leased spaces
Facility with office, collaboration, and analytical software

Key Additional Responsibilities:
Generate / administer Real Estate Lease and funding documents
Ensure data is maintained in lease administration systems
Audit and oversee accounts payable / receivable for Amgen’s leased portfolio

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree
OR
Master’s degree and 2 years of real estate or business experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of real estate or business experience
OR
Associate’s degree and 10 years of real estate or business experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of real estate or business experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise in Real Estate, Business and / or relevant experience
