The Radisson & Hampton Inn Coralville is hiring for a Sales Coordinator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Answers phones, greets visitors and provides information as requested for the sales office.
-Distributes incoming mail and processes outgoing correspondence including shipments through UPS, Fed Ex, etc.
-Maintains sales office files and ensures that sales office is kept neat and clean and that business center is fully stocked.
-Prepares sales reports as directed and updates reader boards.
-Maintains inventory of office supplies and forms and creates door signs for meetings.
-Finalizes Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and rooming lists for functions.
-Conducts property tours and handles transportation requests.
-Meets and/or exceeds individual quantitative revenue and production goals set forth by the General Manager and/or Director of Operations.
-Makes up sales kits and client gifts and sends out thank you letters.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general accounting reports, policies & procedures, and instructions. Ability to read and implement safety policies & procedures. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to complaints or inquiries from groups of managers, customers, employees and general public. Ability to communicate clearly in person, by telephone and in writing.
