Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers available to work with seniors in Lima, Shawnee and Cridersville area, 25-40 hours a week. No health care or medical experience is necessary but must be a people person with the ability to meet work attendance obligations. We are looking for responsible, reliable and compassionate persons who want to work with seniors wherever they call home including their private homes, independent living communities, assisted living apartments, etc. Home Instead Senior Care is the world's largest senior care company and provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain as independent as possible and meet the challenges of aging with dignity and companionship.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Companionship and conversation
Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
Medication and appointment reminders
Assistance with grooming and bathing
Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
Dementia and Alzheimer's Care
Gait Belt and Transfer Assistance
*No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead Senior Care*
Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
Have reliable transportation and Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance
We have a variety of shifts available with competitive pay. Immediate openings in Lima and Bowling Green. Previous experience and skills training recognized in compensation structure.
