A Winston-Salem manufacturer is looking for an experienced purchasing clerk.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Creates purchase orders.
  • Discussed with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
  • Obtains price quotes from multiple suppliers.
  • Runs reports to help determine needs.
  • Issues purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Confirms delivery date, quantity ordered and price are correct.
  • Processes receipts and invoices for payment.
  • Maintains procurement records.
  • Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with quality control or other departments as needed.

Salary: $14-$16/hr.
