Located in Oakland’s Jack London Square, A3Ventures is the innovation lab and capital investment engine of AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah. We develop and launch new products and services that help people thrive in our rapidly changing world.

We are eager to recruit an exceptional Marketing Associate.

 

What you’ll do

Your mandate is to support the A3Ventures brand and portfolio of products and services as they are brought to market.

You’re a skilled writer with experience in content marketing and comfort across social media and understand the difference and nuances in B2B and B2C communications. You are eager to learn and willing to work across products and services to do whatever it takes to help the team bring them to market.  You will own the digital and physical assets of A3Ventures brand and work with teams across A3Ventures and AAA to ensure the outward face of the brand is consistent, timely and amplified.

 

 Create content:  Work with a wider team to plan, write, and post content across social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Medium, Glassdoor, YouTube, Blogs (may extend to Facebook Instagram, Snapchat as required).

 Listen: Monitor organic content and engage when appropriate.

Identify and plan engagement with influencers: Outline opportunities to build profile, identify and build relationships with relevant media and key influencers, arrange promotional events and conferences..

Create A3Ventures brand assets: Create collateral as required for speaking engagements and sponsorships.

Publicize: Manage brand ambassadors at key events and provide live social media coverage as appropriate.

Research and Analyze: Report, analyze, and recommend changes based on social media platform performance. Keep up to date with emerging social media platforms and inform wider team on application potential.

 Support Teams: Support wider A3Ventures team on product launches as required.

What you’ve done.

 

You have 1-3 years experience working in a marketing/communications role with experience setting up, and managing social media channels. We welcome experience from agencies, startups, or corporate innovation.

Strong track record in social media, email marketing, PR, thought leadership, and digital advertising channels.

You have been part of a team that has brought brands to life through digital storytelling mediums: video, imagery, social media content, rich long format content, etc. You have contributed to positioning/messaging frameworks, and developed stories that engage people with products and experiences.

Proven track record of being able to adapt quickly to new situations and work across functions to deliver outstanding results.
