SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: To ensure that all necessary Race Experience department activities are accomplished in a “World Class” manner.
TEAM MEMBER GUIDEBOOK: Prior to being assigned to the position, a complete understanding of the
Team Member Guidebook is necessary since the person holding the position will be subjected to these rules and regulations. In addition, the company maintains an online Intranet website with additional procedures (Wiki).
ESSENTIAL TASKS:
- Ensure Race Experience staff are prepared for all shifts
- Ensure Race Experience staff is on time for every shift and ensure they are clocking in/out for breaks
- Manage labor cost (i.e. use breaks during slow periods, look for opportunities to send people home early if slow, etc)
- Ensure phone calls are being answered within 3 rings and give acceptable “Accelerate” greeting
- Must be involved in all refund transactions and enter in all refunds into refund tracking sheet
- Ensure all race certificates are entered into “Free Race Certificate Log” at the end of shift
- Ensure you and your team are providing adequate responses to information about Annual Speedway License, pricing, age and height restrictions
- Handle all company and social inquiries efficiently (Direct guest to webform or provide correct contact info for Corporate/Social outside sales manager)
- Engage with all customer with a strong focus on being “Customer Driven”
- Greet all customers who enter the front door with acceptable “Accelerate” greeting in a smiling and friendly manner.
- Qualify guest and direct to appropriate areas
- Have a complete understanding of all Accelerate pricing weekday vs weekend.
- Maintain a focus of upselling race packages and to must meet specified package sales percentage (Reference Race Experience Commission Plan)
- Schedule racers in the most efficient way possible for up to 5 races ensuring customers do not have an unnecessary wait.
- Ensure all cash drawers are counted in at the beginning of the shift and out at the end of shift. Must be verified by Director of Race Experience or Manager on duty
- Have a complete understanding of all aspects of Club Speed system
- Provide an adequate explanation of the Thanx loyalty program and its benefits
- Have effective communication with the entire team
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction with an emphasis on “World Famous” service. Handle complaints efficiently and courteously. If you cannot correct the problem get with Director of Race Experience or manager on duty.
- Complete opening and closing checklist.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the front desk area, lobby, meeting rooms and restrooms.
- Follow Company Uniform Policy.
- Follow all safety procedures. Be sure that all chemicals are properly labeled. Be sure that any biohazard items are properly cleaned or are disposed of properly.
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Race Experience.
