JOB SUMMARY

We arelooking for a knowledgeable Exchange/Office 365 Engineer to join ourcollaborative Workplace Engineering team. This associate will lead the designand engineering of Exchange for Marriott's people first workplace using designthinking, inclusive user experiences, and a Gen-Z/Millennial mindset. Technologyis constantly evolving so this associate should be comfortable with identifyingthe trends that matter, incorporating them into our services, and working withothers to figure out how best to use them to enable those we work with.Simplicity, automation, and self-empowerment are more than just words for us,they are core to our mission so this associate will be expected to design tothese standards. There is a high degree of collaboration within our teams so asense of humor, clear communication, and empathy are needed to ensure that ourideas and strategies are diverse and well thought out.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

Required:

* 5 years of experience/knowledgeof directory, e-mail, and virtual services at a senior engineering level withina Fortune 250 company with significant scale.

* 3 years of experience with enterprise class cloud and hosted services such asOffice 365, AWS, Horizon Air, Google Cloud.

* Demonstrableability to build and craft virtual and automatic capabilities that support enduser computing platforms.

* Experiencecollaborating and engaging remote/offshore development and support teams.

Preferred:

* BSin Computer Science, Engineering or related field. Equivalent work experiencewould be considered in lieu of degree

* Adeep understanding of integrating emerging technology into a large scale environmentusing both on premise and cloud infrastructure.

* Ableto translate quality assurance, risk management, and security considerationsand impact on a technology environment; and communicate those to key stakeholders

* Detailedunderstanding of the end to end lifecycle related to desktops, mobile,wearables, telephony and other forms of computing.

* Abilityto design complete processes; and resolve complex problems.

* Familiaritywith global, diverse, customer centric work cultures.

* Assesscustomer needs, creatively design solutions, influence others to adopt theappropriate course of action.

* Lead2nd/3rd level outsourced support as it relates to messaging both at the gatewayand for Exchange 2010, 2013, and Office 365.

* Providetechnical leadership for 10-15 technical resources in the evaluation, testing,design, and integration of new technologies into the Operations Environment.

* Leadengineering design reviews, operational readiness assessments, and servicevalidation initiatives.

* Develop,execute, and validate scripting for reporting, data collection, and performanceanalysis.

* Leadconfiguration analysis and standardization activities to ensure technology is introducedinto the production environment in a healthy state.

* Facilitatethe successful integration of all engineering activities into the ServiceTransition process.

* Validatesystems design packages, troubleshooting diagrams, run books, and 15-minute drillsfor service restoral.

* Engagewith Service Delivery team in reviewing performance metrics, customer feedbackon evolving requirements, and service improvement initiatives.

* Demonstratesauthoritative knowledge of messaging (Microsoft Exchange) and mail bordersolutions.

* Effectivelyengage suppliers, vendors, OEMs and other third parties to ensure consistentand effective execution of services across IT Delivery.

* Participatewith technical teams that are flexible to a growing business climate
