Part Time Sales Associate - Richmond University Medical Center - Staten Island, NY

Specific qualifications for this customer service role include:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in retail sales.
• Willingness to submit to and pass a background check
• Ability to bend and lift up to 3
• 0 lbs. for housekeeping and stocking duties
• Basic mathematical skills
• Schedule flexibility to work evenings, holidays and weekends
• Nights are from 3:30pm - 8:15 pm and Every Sunday from 2:30 pm to 8:15 pm
• (20 - 25 hours per week)
• Proficiency in MS Office pack, a plus

Job Responsibilities

As an Inside Sales Associate, your main goal will be to interact with our customers on a daily basis and to go the extra mile to succeed the sales expectations. This will involve keeping management informed by submitting activity and results report, ensuring high levels of customer service and to maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas.

Specific duties for this part time sales associate role include, but are not limited to:

• Developing familiarity and knowledge of products and services in the shop
• Adhering to loss prevention objectives and maintaining acceptable shrink levels during your shift
• Understanding contractual obligation for store to be open during scheduled hours of operations
• Implementing and teaching customer F.I.R.S.T guidelines
• Managing large sums of money and protecting company assets
• Monitoring product stock levels and use online ordering for replenishment of needed items
• Utilizing the POS computer system.
