PARTY PRO – JOB DESCRIPTION

A passionate party enthusiast who helps customers create an end to end experience hosting memorable events, while driving in-store sales. A trusted influencer who makes the party planning process, simple, easy and fun! Party Pros utilize selling skills, product knowledge and technology to inspire customers to purchase all of their party needs. This person engages with customers to build relationships, identify party needs and offer creative ideas to maximize sales.

Party Pros actively utilize industry publications and social media to identify and translate entertaining trends to create unique and inspiring events for customers. This Specialist engages with the customer throughout the planning process, which includes follow-up to the shopping experience and to the event itself, to build brand loyalty and repeat business.

Makes connections with customers, builds trust, respect and confidence, inspires and influences decision making. Maintains contact beyond the initial sale to create brand loyalty.

Knowledgeable:
Strong knowledge of the party business, related products, industry trends and experience hosting/coordinating parties and events. Utilizes a variety of methods, including technology to develop ideas to enhance the customer’s shopping experience

Minimum Qualifications
 Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends & holidays
 1-2 year sales, customer service, party planning or event experience (strongly preferred) (e.g., wedding planning, sales associate in retail store, telesales, etc.)
 Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
 Excellent communication skills
 Demonstrates a passion for guest service and a competency for selling
 Creative thinker with a passionate for planning parties / events
 Ability to troubleshoot, work independently and as part of a team
 High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
