PrideStaff is seeking a Production Supervisor who is to meet planned production schedules to satisfy customer requirements in an accurate and cost efficient manner. This is a temporary to hire career opportunity, 1st shift, Monday through Friday, compensating $60,000 to $65,000 per year.

- Responsible to accomplish the daily schedule set by Production Planner
- Responsible for employee placement and activity in the shop.
- Responsible for looking ahead a minimum of two (2) jobs on each machine and making sure everything is needed
- Responsible for having required material at correct work center before needed for setup
- Responsible for having job packet for upcoming jobs in proper area
- Responsible for informing setup person of upcoming jobs
- Responsible for keeping the shop clean and safe
- Attends Production Planning meetings
- Responsible for working with Production Assistant to keep Customer Service informed of job status
- Reports to the VP of Operations and may be assigned additional responsibilities as required
- High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a supervisor
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have the knowledge of using CNC turning and milling equipment in order to make proper judgment
- Must have the ability to analyze and solve issues when a CNC operator is unable to manufacture the part when they should be able to
- Must be able to lead the entire plant to meet the goals the VP of Operations sets for that time period
- Will be in a supervisor role that manages all plant employees on a daily basis
- Will report to the VP of Operations
- General safety, equipment awareness, and quality system awareness
- Light to moderate physical effort recquired
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Regularly required to sit or stand, reach and move about the facility
- Safety glasses and steel toe boots must be worn at all times
- Ear protection is recommended
