Design solutions to drive safe living and quality of life
Position Responsibilities:
Assembly, Testing, and Packaging of commercial fire protection systems
Reading and following work instructions using a bill of material and written standard work as well as test procedures.
Producing a good quality product in a timely manner while maintaining required safety standards.
Contributing continuous improvement ideas
Submitting weekly safety behavior observations
20 Operate assigned equipment 20 Participate in continuous improvement activities 20 Support the Honeywell Operating System 20 Maintain assigned work areas 20 Comply with all safety rules
YOU MUST HAVE
* High School Diploma
WE VALUE
* Solid analytical and problem solving skills
* Experience operating industrial trucks (Forklifts/Riders) a plus
* Strong computer skills, especially using excel with ability to create spreadsheets and perform advanced formulas and functions.
* Basic understanding of daily productivity matrix and able to present to staff
* Understanding of SAP WM system a plus
* Operate within company operating procedures.
* Strong communication and motivational skills
* Strong leadership skills
* Conduct daily performance and productivity reports
* Train new employees as required
* Support LEAN deployment and related activities
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
