Job Overview:

Bloomingdale's, Like No Other Store In The World, is seeking an experienced Restaurant Line Cook. If you are enthusiastic about pursuing a career the restaurant business and to prepare fun and creative food for our upscale clientele, we might be just the place for you.

Essential Job Functions:

• Prepare all a la carte as well as Grab & Go items as necessary;
• Set up of work station as needed
• Maintain an organized and clean work station
• Prepare all items to the established Bloomingdale's standards at all times

Qualifications:

• Culinary background-minimum 2 years hands-on line cook experience preferred
• Certified Food Handlers Certificate (where required)
• Professional demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities and learn new procedures
• A team player who possesses the ability to work in a learning environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers and management
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends, extended hours and key event days
• Highly organized
