Essential Job functions (Tasks, duties and responsibilities most important to get the job done) Third shift, Friday-Sunday 6 pm -6 am
- Assisting supervisor with planning and coordinating the maintenance and repair of conveyors, machines and equipment.
- Ensuring that all work, including work performed by subcontractors, is done in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Maintaining good housekeeping and working well with management, peers and subordinate employees to maximize productivity while minimizing employee conflict.
- Maintenance of facility property, not limited to building grounds, HVAC, generators, sprinkler systems, security systems, etc.
- Must have experience with conveyors, 24 VDC/120 VAC control device experience, mig welding, stick welding, 460 volt 3 phase hands on experience, material handling equipment experience (MHE), pneumatic and hydraulic experience
- Must have experience with operating machinery, minor repairs and troubleshooting.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Must be able to use all routine industrial hand tools.
- Must have electrical knowledge.
- Must be able to read and use tape measures, levels, etc.
- Must be able to pass equipment training including scissor lift, stock picker, reach truck, pallet truck, and turret truck.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, not required.
- 3+ years of maintenance experience.
- Must be able to lift 45 pounds individually and 100 pounds with team assistance
- Must be able to walk and climb stairs.
- Must be able to use ladders and squat and bend doing maintenance on conveyors.
- Must be available to work 14 consecutive days in a row during peak season.
- Comply with Blackout Periods as determined by Management.
- Holiday Schedule To Be Decided by Management Based Upon Forecast
