Job Duties/Functions:

- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
- Identify and successfully investigate matters of internal dishonesty
- Control the unexplained loss of merchandise and improve profitability
- Review and analyze store shrink performance; identify associate behaviors and/or operational issues through exception based reporting and CCTV that may cause shrink
- Identify trends; make recommendations for improvement; teach, train and coach associates to effectively handle opportunities; monitor corrective action
- Prepare detailed and accurate reports in a timely manner
- Monitor criminal cases, appear in court and testify as warranted
- Follow up, support and resolve safety, environmental and regulatory issues as assigned by the Store Manager
- Assist in supporting safety awareness and compliance in stores, including assistance with Workers' Compensation and General Liability claim process
- Use data to identify trends that may lead to accidents and make recommendations for process changes or improvements
- Assist with the development and retention of hourly Operations Support associates
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or in Criminal Justice from an accredited institution
- Minimum of Five years’ experience in retail store loss prevention, including two years’ experience in loss prevention management or related management experience
- National certified training program (Wicklander-Zuwalski or Reed training)
- Demonstrated experience conducting retail investigations
- Experience in using physical security systems (CCTV, EAS, etc.)
- Experience conducting quality reviews/audits
- Current AHA First Aid/CPR/AED certification
