Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-11:30am

Hours: 22.5 hours per week

MISSION

Accurately document multiple channel returned merchandise to ensure proper credit is applied to customer accounts within established timeframes. Determine product disposition regarding what items can be placed back into stock, placed into seconds or discarded. Acquire knowledge of all returns department business processes. This position is also responsible for assisting the VAS Lead and VAS Manager in successfully completing any and all special projects.

KEY RESULTS AREAS
  • Support development of revised workflow procedures designed to reduce labor costs and increase speed of processing.
  • Accurately generate credits utilizing multiple operating systems. Analyze, research, and solve complex return problems. Conduct audits and provide results to management.
  • Utilize various office equipment and third party technology.
  • Refurbish returned merchandise to first quality condition this includes: steaming, folding, bagging and labeling.
  • Identify and report product quality issues.
  • Reliable, results oriented self- motivated team player with a positive approach to assigned tasks and ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure work areas are clean and departmental supplies re-stocked.
  • Assist in the put-away of VAS merchandise to active floor location.
  • Re-pack refusals or re-ships according to business process to avoid damaging product ie: bending, crushing, shifting or leaking.
  • Assist in the execution of seasonal physical inventory.
  • Executes to completion all special projects and work orders to include but not limited to ticketing, bagging, labeling, and taping per project description.
  • Perform detailed inspection of Home merchandise as needed per Quality Control guidelines.
  • Uses operating system & 3rd party equipment to produce labels, tickets, and reporting.
  • Assist in Archive document storage and recordkeeping.
  • General housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse work areas.
  • Other warehouse duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE, TALENT AND EDUCATION
  • High school Diploma/GED.
  • 3+ years Distribution Center operations experience preferably in a reverse logistics department
  • Stamina to stand, walk, push or pull cartons or pick carts and perform repetitive duties for entire work shift.
  • Proficient competency level in reading, understanding and verbally communicating in English in order to carry out written or verbal instructions. Proven competency to speak and read English.
  • Excellent written, oral communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with speed while also following safety procedures.
  • Requires sound judgment, attention to detail, integrity and prioritization skills in order to meet workload demands.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, metric driven, team, production based environment.
  • Good basic math skills - ability to count, add and subtract two digit numbers, multiply and divide.
  • Proficient in Microsoft word, excel, outlook and data entry.
  • Agility to bend, twist, stoop and reach above shoulders to floor-level & upper shelving, conveyor, and merchandise pallets.
  • Ability to continuously climb and descend stairs safely.
  • Ability to lift or move up to approximately 50lbs frequently.
  • Ability to differentiate products with similar characteristics (size, color, vendor code, SKU)
  • Reliable, self-motivated team player with a positive approach to assigned tasks and ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
