POSITION PURPOSE

The Merchandising Execution Team (MET) Regional Human Resources Manager (RHRM) is responsible for driving the execution of HR initiatives in the areas of organizational effectiveness, diversity, learning, performance management, associate engagement, and HR communications. RHRMs operate as business partners to field MET leaders. RHRMs work closely with the Regional Director of Merchandising Execution (RDMEs) and up to 50 District Execution Managers (DEMS) to support the execution of HR programs and processes within multiple regions. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources at the Atlanta Store Support Center.


MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Managing the execution of HR programs/processes in the areas of: organizational effectiveness, diversity, performance management, learning, associate engagement, and HR communications.
- Providing HR support and guidance in selecting, developing, and managing the performance of DEMs, MEMs, and hourly MET associates.
- Ensuring HR initiatives and processes are executed consistently.
- Driving associate engagement through recognition and reward programs, HR communications, and town hall meetings.
- Ensuring excellent associate relations practices.
- Determining training needs and assisting in the development, implementation, and delivery of training programs.
- Analyzing reports to evaluate HR operations for an assigned Region.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Conditions could produce mild discomfort on occasion.

Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel 50% to 75% of the time.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years

Physical Requirements:
Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
- 7 years progressive HR generalist experience, union avoidance, affirmative action, EEOC and government compliance experience.
- Experience working in retail merchandising service industry or working directly for large-scale retailer with multi-location responsibility.
