Position Purpose and Scope

Manage and nurture a mutually profitable business relationship with an assigned account structure that supports RL brand strategy.

Key focus to include:

* Develop and implement financial business plan for territory by account.

* Partner with Planning team to ensure seasonal assortment plans meet the business objectives and needs for each account in collaboration with Buyer.

* Ensure high level of professional and proactive communication with all levels account management structure to drive business towards plan achievement.

* Manage integrated marketing plan (Capital, Advertising, Collateral) by account.

* Interface and manage Retail Development teams for each account to ensure effective execution of retail merchandising and sales strategy for each account.

Key Responsibilities Business Analysis and Strategy Planning:

* Propose, negotiate and finalize seasonal Sales and Receipt plans by account by door in conjunction with NSM

* Develop seasonal Financial flow worksheet for each account incorporating PRL product flow within parameters of account financial objectives for sales, turn and margin

* Manage in-season business for each account via monthly update and review of rolling 12 Month Financial plans. Develop and implement strategies necessary to achieve plan

* Provide input to NSM on management of seasonal MD strategy

* Review and discuss Financial and Brand/Class market share analysis highlighting product and sales opportunities for each account (by region/door)

* Utilize sales analyzer to create sales reports (e.g. Brand Penetration by door)

* Analyze classification sales and stock levels to realize opportunities for growth

* Analyze and develop seasonal strategy to achieve accounts' profitability objective for PRL

* Provide input to NSM and Marketing on development of targeted and effective

* Retail Marketing plans by account

* Review and communicate competition and product trend to Merchandising and Planning departments (i.e. brand, class, key item) via monthly completion recap report

Assortment Planning Collaboration:

* Prepare, report and maintain Account Profiles (by door) for fashion concept planning

* Compile and report quarterly Missed Opportunities report to Planning

* Review and advise Corporate Planner on seasonal fashion assortment plan development throughout process

* Execute final seasonal assortment plan presentation and confirmation during Line Opening

Account Management and Communication:* Conduct weekly F.A.S.T conference calls with account team

* Schedule, prepare, conduct and document Monthly Business Review with NSM, RPD and Account Management.

* Sales/Stock/Competition trend analysis and recommendation

* Markdown strategy plan for future month(s)

* Shop Evaluation Recap and Staffing Plan Status review

* Coordinate and present management meetings (seasonally) to include:

* Scheduling meeting and internal pre-meets

* Producing management meeting books

* Recapping discussion

* Execution of follow through

* Travel to all department stores to have an understanding of business needs:

* Develop Quarterly itinerary to visit key markets/doors. Objective is to spend an average of 1 day per week within each quarter in stores within territory.

* Focus on reviewing Assortment content, market share trends, overall stock issues (inclusive of BSR/FSR) and overall retail execution

* Support RPD/SC by reviewing visit findings with account management

* Resolve all issues (i.e. Staffing deficiencies, Unauthorized Promos, BSR/FSR holes) on a proactive basis

* Assist Customer Service in effective management of monthly receipt flow and order fulfillment

Capital Planning:

* Develop and enter all Capital projects into seasonal plan

* Evaluate and justify ROI to PRL internal management review

* Coordinate and conduct presentation, negotiation and finalization of Capital plans with Account management

* Negotiate location and size of shop

* Analyze and manage productivity of space/increase sales per foot

Expense/Allowance Control:* Manage all direct expense items within/below budget monthly

* Plan all Travel on timely basis and submit to NSM for authorization

* Submit all expense reports complete and on a timely basis

* Manage all allowances and returns seasonally to ensure achievement of annual profitability goals

* Resolve all Open Chargebacks on monthly basis

Requirements

* Minimum of 3 years of wholesale and/or retail apparel sales experience

* Strong leadership skills

* Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

* Highly motivated and organized

* Strong retail analysis and computer skills

* Strong product knowledge in premium/luxury segment of Men's apparel industry

* Ability to travel- flexibility
