To review, educate and train
in multiple disciplines of healthcare coding and reimbursement. Assure that all coding and reimbursement
plans are compliant and regularly updated for changes in internal or external
policies including regulatory agencies.
Assure that the policies and procedures properly integrate into our
clinical information system. Coordinate
communications between departments, office sites and physicians. High
School Graduate Requires
knowledge of ancillary and physician
office billing procedures, coding, governmental regulations, operating
procedures and reimbursement requirements.
Normal office environment.
Morning, Evening or weekend work when required. Requires travel to various office sites. 1 year experience in a multi-physician group
practice with knowledge of third party payer requirements and
reimbursement. Knowledge of Electronic
Medical Record template design preferred. Experience in surgical coding a plus Certified
Professional Coder Experience in surgical coding a plus
