Position Purpose:

Work within a team environment and is responsible for answering a multi-line telephone system while entering orders into the computer system. 

 Essential Job Functions:

The incumbent must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation.

 

  • Build rapport with customers by greeting them in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using procedures learned during new-hire training.
  • Answers customer calls with a friendly and courteous demeanor.  Example:

Pharmacy orders

Catalog Requests

Returns

Order Status Calls 

  • Position entails a high amount of customer interaction over the phone. Ensure that customers understand product information, and be able to provide additional information to customers as needed.
  • Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy.
  • Prepare complete and accurate work and update customer data and orders.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals/teams in the program to ensure high quality and timely expedition of customer requests.
  • Effectively transfer misdirected customer requests to an appropriate party.

QualificationsEducation/Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent are desired.
  • Basic computer knowledge, basic math skills, ability to read and write basic messages, verbally communicate to fellow workers and supervisors is a requirement.  Capable of basic computer skills is desired
  • Data/Order Entry Skills desired
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve
