Security Officer

Protects employees, patients and visitors of the Raleigh General Hospital. Responsible for the protection of hospital supplies and equipment. Enforces security policies and procedures of the hospital and observes suspicious persons, disorderly gatherings, etc. Assist in any injury, sickness, riot, fire, or similar events.

Valid West Virginia drivers license

Demonstrated ability to follow written and oral instructions. Work experience in healthcare security and/or safety field preferred. Preference for routine organized activities such as making repeated rounds of the same territory. Demonstrated ability to remain calm and objective and to provide leadership in emotion charged situations and to relate effectively to the public. Demonstrated ability to prepare written reports of activities. Ability to pass a pre-employment check as to police record
