Help needed for my husband in his 70s in his fifth year of ALS. He is now quadriplegic, but can still swallow and speak. Helper must be able to use a Hoyer lift, a bi-pap, and a cough assist machine and be able to drive a wheelchair van. Help needed on weekends, ideally 8 - 8, and to fill in on weekdays for other caregivers with sudden health or family problems of their own. Caregiver must be within 20 minutes of Patterson Park and cannot have small children. Pay for a well-qualified individual is $20/hr plus both halves of SS and unemployment taxes. Access to a 4WD vehicle in winter is a plus for the long driveway. Thank you for considering this.
