Job DescriptionCustomer Accounts AssociateOur client manufactures and distributes nutritional food products to a health conscious consumer base.KEY RESULT AREAS: Our client is looking for someone who can provide top tier customer service by developing a deep understanding of our customers- purchase order and inventory management needs. This person will need to proactively manage sales orders from receipt through delivery, by partnering with third-party warehouses, transportation providers and cross-functional team members. Lastly, the Customer Accounts Associate should have strong analytical and problem solving skills, and an ability to deliver results in a highly dynamic, customer facing environment. JOB DUTIES:ORDER ADMINISTRATION 50%- Update and execute administrative transactions to complete order processing and fulfillment in company-s ERP (NetSuite) daily- Check Bills of Lading for discrepancies to complete order fulfillment- Collect data from external carrier websites and correspond with carriers as needed- Troubleshoot issues causing orders not to process automaticallyRETURNS ADMINISTRATION 30%- Create Returns Authorizations in NetSuite for all customer accounts based on information from customers or third party transportation carriers- Work with the Accounting team for any outstanding invoices to create and manage Returns Authorizations, receiving product virtually in ERP to clear invoices- File claims for product loss with transportation carriers, track status, follow through to reimbursement from vendor- Partner with internal and external Sales leadership to provide relevant account information, communicate as one team, troubleshoot, and understand priorities.ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTING 10%- Create Returns Authorizations report monthly- Create Fill Rate report monthly- Report monthly claims status report from carrier- Update delivery dates in NS for one customer warehouse shipments monthly- Provide data for On Time Delivery report monthly- Send daily order summary to carriers dailyCUSTOMER ORDER PROCESSING 10%- Process orders for small number of customers and track orders to delivery- Provide information on inventory to select customers for order approval- Provide customs documentation for international shipping as neededEducation:- BA/BS degree or equivalent business experience preferredExperience:- 0-2 years customer service or related experience, ideally in a Beverage or CPG company- Experience with NetSuite system, or similar ERP system, is a plus- Working knowledge of Windows, Excel and Word- Working knowledge of supply chain and order management processes- Understanding of EDI transaction documents is a plusSkills:- Self-directed, with the ability to communicate issues, make recommendations and solve problems- Highly organized with excellent follow-through- Ability to proactively manage and prioritize many details with a high level of accuracy- Excellent written and verbal communication- Star performance demonstrated in previous employmentLocation: Emeryville, CAWork Schedule: 7:30am - 4pm or 8-4:30pm but may be flexible.
