Cable and Installation Technician - Structured Cabling/Network Construction/Low Voltage KELLY IT RESOURCES has an immediate opening for a full-time Cable and Installation Technician in Greensboro . Qualifications 3 years of pulling, terminating and testing CAT5/ CAT6 in commercial environments Experience troubleshooting Ethernet network issues related to routers, switches and hubs Recent experience with: Rack and stack work, Putting together server racks, Closet work, Patch panels Valid driver's license and clean driving record Responsibilities You will build, troubleshoot, upgrade and maintain our Network! Every building is different so we rely on our technicians to bring a diverse skill set, exercise solid judgment, and collaborate well as a team. To bring new buildings onto our Network you will: Conduct site surveys Design cable pathways, Run and terminate CAT6 cables Install radio mounts and grounding systems Mount switches and POEs Point microwave point-to-point radios and testing for service Verify the jack is punched down correctly Make any required cross connects to complete the connection all the way back to the telecom closet Set up the customer's router.
