About this job
Automation Personnel Services, Inc. Is seeking to hire promotable qualified individuals in industrial or mechanical engineering as Production Trainees. This position will allow the employees to gain valuable experience in all departments within a warehouse / factory setting while pursuing a business related technical degree. This is a first shift position with a pay range of $11.00 - $15.25 an hour (DOE).
Spend a minimum of three months in each of the following departments:
- Wire Fabrication
- Welding
- Tube Fabrication
- Maintenance
- Scheduling
- Time Study
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist departments with special projects as well as machine operation
- Perform any special assignments as directed
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some college-level courses a plus
- One to two years of experience in Metal and/or Wood Manufacturing
- Be able to stand for extended periods
- Occasional travel between locations in Lewisville and Flower Mound
- Background and drug screen required
