Home Instead Senior Care provides in-home  companion, personal and specialized care to seniors living in Southwest Allegheny and Washington Counties.  We have an terrific opportunity on our scheduling team in our main office which is located in Bethel Park (next to South Hills Village Mall).

Our schedulers do much more than fill shifts!  They are in constant communication with our CAREGivers and Clients via the phone or text/emails about work opportunities, schedule changes and care updates. They educate CAREGivers on Availability and manage changes.  They participate in New Hire Orientation, set up job shadowing and Introductions to launch a new CAREGiver's career.  They are the service center of Home Instead.

Doing this job well means CAREGivers are working the hours that they want, Clients have great CAREGivers, new Clients have a consistent CAREGiving Team in place at launch and new CAREGivers are supported and engaged.  When done right, our business thrives and you are impacting lives!

It's not a job for everyone though- you must be engaging with a friendly, positive attitude.  You must like to be busy and always be working ahead.  You must be able to problem solve, remember details and be a very good communicator.  You cannot get flustered during the peaks and you cannot lose momentum during the valleys. You must respect what a CAREGiver does (and it helps if you are one  yourself!)
