Summary

Senior Financial Analyst

Are you ready to step into an impact role at a large and growing organization? The Senior Financial Analyst assists with the internal and external financial reporting for the Company; including monthly Board of Directors reporting, quarterly Bank Compliance reporting, and preparation of the audited year-end financial statements. Conducts and documents complex financial analysis projects. Maintains the fieldwork associated with the annual financial statement audit and other technical accounting projects. Involved with ad-hoc finance and accounting related projects as requested by the Board of Directors and Executive Management.

Responsibilities

• Monthly Reporting to the Board of Directors - Work with associates throughout the Company to collect slides and information needed to populate reports based on information requested by the Board
• Annual Audit & Financial Statements - Ensure reconciliations, lead schedules, and account analysis is delivered based on agreed schedule. Provide support for preparation of the annual financial report and related footnotes in accordance with US GAAP
• Technical GAAP Research - Understand and implement accounting pronouncements and alert management of all current US GAAP and SEC trends in reporting and compliance that apply to the Company
• Internal Controls - Ensure effective internal controls throughout the corporate accounting organization and maintain related documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in public accounting and/or large company
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers
