The Seasonal Restaurant Food Runner provides outstanding customer service bydelivering food and beverage orders to customers and maintaining a clean and stockeddining room.
Essential Functions:
Follows Food Division Standards and Best Practices
- Demonstrate current and working knowledge of restaurant
- Delivers food and beverage orders quickly and efficiently to customers and ensure they are accurate and meet plate presentation standards
- Clear and maintain tables according to company standards
- Responsible for recycling where applicable
- Perform daily cleaning tasks assigned by supervisor
- Ensure dining room is prepared for customer service
- Effectively deals with multiple customers and communicates customer requests or concerns and service flow issues with manager on duty
- Provides an outstanding customer service experience to all customers
- Knowledgeable of cashier duties and responsibilities
- Follows Food Safety standards and maintains work area and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards
- Follows station specific duties and responsibilities
- Opens and/or closes area following appropriate checklist, verifies completion with Manager on Duty prior to leaving the area
- Maintain personal hygiene and professional dress code to comply with Food Division and Health Department standards
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Skill in working as a part of a team
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
- Previous restaurant and/or hospitality experience
