About this job

The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for assisting in the shipping and receiving of parts associated with In-Home Repairs, and providing professional, timely, accurate and courteous customer service to both internal and external customers.

  • Assists in the movement of parts associated with Physical Truck Inventories and Reverse Flow
  • Assists in loading/unloading Service Trucks and Delivery vehicles
  • Assists in the shipping and receiving process for outgoing parts shipped to the Parts Distribution Center (PDC)/Inventory Rebalancing Center (IRC) or other locations
  • Assists in Processing Reverse Flow Parts Returns Surplus and Core
  • Assists in conducting Truck Stock Inventories
  • Picks up return parts, local purchase parts, deliver parts from drop sites, and suppliers
  • Ships out supplies, tools and necessary items to Technicians and Technical Managers
  • Counts and records receipts for parts and merchandise
  • Reads and understands documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and other Quality Management Systems (QMS)-based procedural documents, and ensures adherence to applicable safety and environmental rules in order to provide a safe business for customers and associates
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of shipping, receiving, staging and inventory areas
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Ability to apply appropriate use of personal protective equipment (i.e., back belt, safety glasses), where applicable

  • Assists in loading/unloading Service Trucks and Delivery vehicles
  • Ability to follow Home Services Quality Management System (QMS) guidelines
