POSITION PURPOSE
The Special Orders team facilitates the purchasing and selling of non-stock and custom items for all brands across IBI. The team is dedicated to improving customer loyalty with fast, accurate, and friendly service and support.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
20%- Partner with Sales team and Special Order buyers to meet customers non-stock needs
20%- Build effective relationships with vendors Research and resolve discrepancies
20%- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Credit
20%- Accurately update and maintain Special Orders records and files
20%- Leverage computer systems and tools to perform job functions
NATURE AND SCOPE
This position reports to the Senior Special Order Manager.
This position has no direct reports.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Additional Environmental Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3 years
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Additional Qualifications:
Experience in prioritizing and managing a high volume of work while maintaining service level standards at least 2 years of customer service experience
3 + Years in a Customer Service or Coordinator Role
Working knowledge of Microsoft suite
Preferred Qualifications:
Background and knowledge of the distribution industry preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:Must be able to multitask
Demonstrated excellence in providing customer service to both internal and external customers
Excellent communication
Strong telephone, communication and organization skills
Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize
