The Reserves Network is a full service staffing firm specializing in light industrial, manufacturing, and office placement.   Clearwater, FL Area Company needs an experienced Lead Shipping candidate.  Great opportunity with a small company that is growing.

 

         Pay $16.70-$22/hr. depending on experience.  

         First shift 8:45am-5:15pm.

         Temp to hire for the right candidate.

 

Duties Include:

         Problem solving shipping errors and make sure all orders are shipped from previous day.

         Provide customer service with shipping quotes as requested.

         Wave, pick, and package orders using the RF scanners.

         Ensure timely and accurate shipments.

         Organizing freight pickups by contacting freight forward companies.

         Operation of the WMS system and shipping software.

         Knowledge of shipping system, inventory system, and dynamics.

         Monitor shipping email and phone to assist Customer Service and Sales Order changes.

         Complete end of day procedures and investigate all shipping functions are complete and accounted for.

         Making sure the shipping area and at the warehouse is well organized to facilitate daily operations and to ensure safety.

         Follow all company guidelines in regards to safety, Hazcom, and forklift operation.

         Maintain and improve safety procedures, policies, supplies and equipment.

         Sign in shipments from FedEx, UPS, DHL, and Freight Carriers while noting damage to carrier in case of a claim.

         Organize warehouse to accept containers. Receive containers in and put-away in such manner to facilitate FIFO.

         Make sure the paperwork and information gets to the next step in the process.

         Monitor warehouse supplies such as gloves, cutters, labels and guns.

         Monitoring packaging materials such as tape, boxes, wrap, paper, bags, popcorn, and bubble wrap.

         Assemble all shipping boxes needed for the day and assemble kits as needed.

         Rotate inventory and organize warehouse for incoming shipments; create and mater packs of large quantity parts; take care of quality control.

         Review cycle counts of spare parts and perform unit count, report to the manager results of the cycle counts.

Requirements Include:

         Previous experience in a shipping/receiving.

         Experience with inventory and cycle counts.

         Experience with forklift.

         Computer skills.

         Must be energetic and positive.

         Ability to handle stress.

         Tobacco, vaping, and drug free workplace.
