Responsibilities include:
Review and enters insurance information into the computer.
Update claim records following process procedures and guidelines, enter notes into client's system.
Analyze insurance records to determine accuracy of settlement offer, evaluates settlement amount to ensure the customer and client receive all possible funds, including verifying all options are included on the vehicle evaluation, and breakdown is accurate and complete.
Follow up with insurance carrier to ensure payment is received in a timely manner.
Execute system generated letters, fax, email, and make inbound/outbound calls to customers, agents, insurance carriers, and GAP carriers.
Communicates with GAP providers regarding the file status and ensures payment is received in a timely manner.
Performs a pre-gap & post gap review to determine the accuracy of payment.
Submit and follow up for a supplemental claim if appropriate.
Consistently achieves department standards of productivity and accuracy.
Schedule adherence and professional demeanor presented at all times, in all circumstances.
Maintains the security and confidentiality of the facility and computer system, programs and client information.
