About this job
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is searching for a Material Planner to join their procurement team. The Material Planner will be responsible for working with existing suppliers, selecting new suppliers, and coordinating and maintaining all internal supplier support functions. The Material Planner will also be responsible for site quoting, ordering, negotiation & supplier management processes. The best Material Planner will continue to develop and maintain excellent working supplier relations.
The Top 3 things a Material Planner will need to be successful in this role include:
- Extensive Buying/Purchasing experience
- Experience in manufacturing settings
- Proficient in the use of SAP systems
This is a 1st shift opening start between 50-80k in salary. The best Material Planner will have a flexible schedule.
