If you are looking for a position that offers a future, there are material handling positions available for candidates with a strong attendance history, and desire to work. This is a contract-to-hire position with a company looking to retain its contractors!
Dress-code is relaxed and the only PPE's are earplugs, provided on-site.
There is a short math test prior to interviewing.
The Job Description for Machine Operators is as follows:
Candidates must have material handling experience.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Responsibilities include:
- Learn all established quality procedures and standards
- Learn all company safety policies, procedures and programs
- Verify all component codes and perform Quality Control checks
- Maintain a clean work station
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift 35-50 pounds
- Ability to stand for 12 hour shift
It is a 4-3 Schedule, working 4 nights one week then 3 nights the next week and so on. Some weekends are required, however there are changeovers in place to assure contractors also have some weekends off. You'll be getting full time hours in 14-15 shifts per month. There is optional overtime available once trained in the role.
Lunch is 30 minutes, and there are 2 breaks, (15-20 minutes). All are paid time.
