About this job
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
*Troubleshoot, analyze and repair breakdowns or malfunctions of PLC/Robotics
*Perform root cause problem identification and implement self-initiated activities to improve process reliability
*Interpret ladder logic
*Troubleshoot and repair electronic components including photo eyes, PLCs, motors and motor controllers, servo motion controllers
*Troubleshoot PLCs via remote computer stations and make programming modifications
*Program and troubleshoot Fanuc robots
*Coordinate installation of projects utilizing outside contractors and assume responsibility for final inspection and acceptance of the project
*Call equipment and/or parts vendors for support in troubleshooting problems and/or optimizing equipment
*Demonstrated proficiency in the use of a computer (Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD 14)
*Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Allen Bradley PLC-5 and Control Logix software
*Demonstrated problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills
*Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively
