Progressive design studio in Raleigh, NC is looking for a Project Architect to join their team. They are looking for their next leader to take part in design, project management, and mentoring junior architects. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career.
Ideal Candidate Skills Include:
- Strong communication skills, good collaborator, creative thinker
- 5-15 years of experience performing technical leadership on projects in addition to scheduling tasks for projects
- Working experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Word, Outlook, Excel
- Experience leading technical project teams and service groups - Civil, L. Arch, Structural and MEP and understands how to schedule, manage, and coordinate project service groups.
- Experience creating project documents for all phases of a project
- Understands project phase approvals with clients and their value within a project plan
- Leadership in architectural design decision making process.
- Understands how to mitigate conflict within project team.
- Understands sustainable design strategies
- Capability to produce project fee estimates with an understanding of the effort associated with quality architectural production processes
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an accredited College or University preferred
- NCARB License preferred
