Position Summary: This position will be in our Outpatient Pharmacy. The Pharmacy department at Mayo Clinic Arizona provides a broad range of services all centered on the primary value ensuring the needs of the patient come first. Responsibilities: Under established guidelines, performs general pharmacy technical functions and assists the pharmacist as directed in areas of distribution, legal records, packaging, and resource control.

Qualifications: High school education or GED. A minimum of three (3) months prior pharmacy technician experience.

Additional Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to work in a busy environment and pay attention to detail. Proven organizational and problem solving skills. Proven ability to effectively work both independently and in a team environment.

License or Certification: Current Arizona State Board of Pharmacy Technician license. Current National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).

Exemption Status: Non-exempt

Hours/Pay Period: 80

Schedule Details: Monday - Sunday 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.

8 hour shifts

occasional weekends
