Responsibilities
* Assist with the startup and stop off of assigned line.
* Assist with the repair of broken ends.
* Patrol winders, inspecting for poor quality packages.
* Doff and inspect yarn packages produced on assigned line
* Clean up rejected packages: a. Overthrows b. Single ends c. Blow back part packages from assigned line
* Fill in for operator: a. Operator checking quality (tensile & elongation) b. Operator's personal time (lunch, etc.)
* Perform any miscellaneous duties as required by supervision.
* Immediately report to supervision all safety hazards, accidents, and/or injuries.
* Obey all safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications
* Must have High School Diploma or GED.
* Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
* Must be able to work in a team with minimum supervision.
* Must be able to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and shifts as required.
* Must have good safety, work, and attendance record.
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently.
* Must pass the Mechanical Aptitude Test.
* Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods of time.
